Pattison is a small town in southern Waller County surrounded by pasture and farmland. It grew around a narrow-gauge railroad in the 1870s and is now a quiet rural community.
What we find in Pattison homes, and how it shapes a Bosch repair here.
The town is named for James Tarrant Pattison, who bought part of William Heady's Mexican land grant in 1839; local legend says the name was won in a horse race. The Texas Western Narrow Gauge Railroad arrived in 1878 and stopped running in 1899. Pattison incorporated in November 1972.
Pattison Water Supply Corporation serves the area, and state planning data list the Gulf Coast Aquifer System as its source. Homes outside the corporation's lines may use private wells, which in Waller County must be registered with the Bluebonnet Groundwater Conservation District.
Pattison's open land brings strong sun and summer heat, and many homes keep appliances in garages, barns or detached workshops. Dust from fields and rural roads clogs condenser coils and dryer vents faster than in town.
Rural homes here often have full-size refrigerators, a separate freezer and a standard laundry pair. Bosch dishwashers and ranges are common in remodeled kitchens and newer houses.
Pattison is on our Waller County route, reached from I-10 at Brookshire or from FM 359, and we schedule visits on next-day windows. Rural addresses can be hard to find, so a landmark or gate description helps.
For homes on private wells, sediment and minerals can affect washers, dishwashers and ice makers. Clean the inlet screens on hoses, replace refrigerator water filters on time and consider a whole-house sediment filter if you see sand or rust in your water. When an appliance fills slowly, check the screens first. If you are adding a new well or changing pumps, flush the lines before reconnecting appliances. Loose grit from new plumbing is a common reason a washer valve sticks open or closed in the first weeks.
Yes. Sediment can clog the refrigerator filter and water valve, and low well pressure makes it worse. Replace the filter and check pressure. If the problem continues, we test the valve.
Yes, if there is safe access and proper power. Heat and dust are harder on appliances in those spaces, so we also check ventilation and clean the coils during the visit.
We tell you the expected arrival time, then schedule the return visit as soon as the part comes in. You approve the price before we order anything.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
