After a cleaning cycle the door will not budge and E107 sits on the screen. Bosch lists two reasons: the oven is still too hot for the lock to release, or the latch is not working as it should. The range retries for a minute and then stops; the message clears after the latch has been seen open for over ten seconds.
1. Do not touch or tug the door while the oven is warm; a clean cycle leaves the cavity far hotter than baking. 2. Wait until it is completely cold. 3. Then turn the breaker off for several minutes and back on. 4. Try the handle gently. Never lever or pry it.
Until the oven is cold to the touch, often well over an hour after a clean. Rushing does not help because the lock will not release while the cavity is hot.
One release after cooling is how Bosch's logic is meant to work. If lockouts repeat, the latch motor or switch is probably wearing out and should be checked.
With a gas range, top burners do not depend on the door latch, so cooking up top is generally still available while the oven stays shut.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
