Kitchens that wanted more than the basic 100 Series but not a 300 often land on the SHE4AEM2N. Bosch badges it 100 Plus, finishes the front in white, and gives it 14 place settings at 48 dBA, with the Home Connect app link and an overflow safeguard that works around the clock. The reason for the extra tier is RackMatic on the top rack: the basket moves through several height positions, which lets a stockpot stand under it.
The height change comes from a plain mechanical catch along each side rail, and that catch explains most of what we see. If an upper rack hangs at an angle, one latch has usually settled into a different notch than the other. The rack is rarely bent.
Water delivery is the other theme. When the rack is parked at the very top and its feed coupling is out of line, the top spray arm gets too little flow. And after several heavily soiled loads in a row, E24 can show up. On a visit we compare the two latches, then follow the water upward from the filter.
Seldom. Compare the notches on both side rails first, because each latch moves independently of the other. Setting them to match solves the great majority of cases without replacing anything.
The upper arm is not receiving enough flow. A feed tube that is blocked, an arm that is clogged, or a rack left where the coupling cannot seal are the usual explanations. We can sort out which one in a single visit.
Take out the filter, rinse its mesh and housing, and run a short cycle. Heavy loads pack the filter fast. If the code returns at once, we should inspect the drain pump and hose.
