You may find the tub barely wet, or the opposite, water standing higher than it should, with E14 on the display and the cycle stalled. The dishwasher counts the water coming in with a small turbine flow meter, and the board has stopped trusting those counts. Without a reliable measurement it cannot tell how much water is in the tub, so it halts rather than wash with the wrong amount.
1. Do not unplug or loosen anything behind or beneath the machine. 2. Find the water shutoff valve under the sink or behind the dishwasher and confirm the handle is fully open, in line with the pipe. 3. Run a short cycle. A half-closed valve can produce flow readings that mimic a bad meter. 4. If E14 returns, leave the water supply alone and call us.
If the meter stops counting, the board may keep the valve open longer than needed. That is why we avoid running repeat cycles while E14 shows.
Yes. Where water carries heavy minerals, as in much of the Houston area, grit can collect around the turbine and slow it. Clearing it means disassembly, so we handle it.
Yes. We diagnose first, give you a written price, and begin only after you approve it. The finished repair is covered by our 30-day workmanship warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
