On the SHV41DB3N you will not find a Bosch front at all. The V in the number means fully integrated, so it is a frame built to receive your own cabinet panel, with the controls tucked along the top edge of the door. It belongs to the 100 Series with a stainless tub and Home Connect Wi-Fi, rated 48 dBA for 12 place settings.
Technicians look at the door balance of every custom-panel machine before anything else. A cabinet maker’s panel may outweigh a factory stainless door several times, and the spring tension must be set to suit it. When it is not, the door slams or will not stay shut. That is an adjustment and does not mean a part broke.
Other calls follow from the panel. A latch that no longer lines up once the panel is refitted gives a no-start, and a vent that points at the cabinet leaves steam stains under the countertop edge. We check the door and latch alignment before we open anything else.
Seldom. The springs on an integrated model can be adjusted to match whatever panel you fitted. After swapping panels or moving the machine, the tension almost always needs setting again.
The strip comes out as a complete unit with the door open. It is a straightforward job, and most of the time your custom panel can stay on.
If the panel pushed the door slightly out of place, the latch may no longer meet the catch, and the machine reads the door as open. Realigning the latch usually clears it.
