With the B30BB930SS, Bosch placed the controls inside the fresh food compartment. This Benchmark built-in came with a stainless door, a bottom freezer, internal ice and water, and Home Connect, and it measured 29 3/4 inches by 83 3/4. Bosch no longer sells it.
Controls behind the door produce an awkward habit. Changing a setting means opening the door, and opening the door warms the cabinet. Someone fiddling with the temperature over several days can become convinced the refrigerator is drifting, when what has moved is the warmth let in by an open door.
Our advice is to change one setting, then leave it alone for a full day, because a loaded cabinet needs hours to stabilize. The connected app shows the actual temperature without opening anything, which is the most accurate view available. We also look at the water filter when ice output dips, and we re-pair the Wi-Fi after a network change.
Give it a full day. A loaded cabinet takes hours to settle, and judging after twenty minutes of door opening tells you nothing useful about where it will end up.
With a connected model, yes. The app reports the temperature for you, and that is the most reliable way to see what the cabinet is really doing without disturbing it.
The water filter. An overdue cartridge restricts flow and cuts ice output, and swapping it is the cheapest step before anyone suspects the ice maker.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
