Woodforest is a 3,000-acre master-planned community built by Johnson Development Corp. around the Woodforest Golf Club in south Montgomery County. Construction started in late 2007, and the Fish Creek Thoroughfare opened in 2009 to tie it to neighboring communities.
What we find in Woodforest homes, and how it shapes a Bosch repair here.
Builders including Perry Homes, Highland Homes, David Weekley and Lennar have built most of the houses here since the late 2000s, from family homes near Stewart Elementary to golf course lots and the Bonterra 55-plus section. Parks, an amenity center and shops are part of the plan.
Woodforest MUD 113 owns no wells; it buys water from Mid-South Synergy, which joined the San Jacinto River Authority's groundwater reduction plan. That means homes receive a mix of groundwater and treated surface water from Lake Conroe.
Woodforest keeps large wooded tracts between neighborhoods. In spring, pine pollen coats outdoor surfaces, including exterior dryer vents and refrigerator grilles, so cleaning both in late spring keeps them working well into the hot months.
Most homes came with builder stainless packages, sometimes including a Bosch dishwasher. Owners in the larger houses commonly add counter-depth refrigerators, gas cooktops and front-load laundry pairs later.
Woodforest lies north of The Woodlands near FM 1488 and FM 2978, and we schedule visits for the next day. Please include your section name when you book, since sections are separate neighborhoods with their own entrances.
Many homes here still have appliances under the builder’s or manufacturer’s warranty. If your Bosch appliance is less than a year or two old, check your warranty papers before calling us, because manufacturer coverage may pay for the repair. If the warranty has expired, we diagnose and quote the work in writing. Keep your receipts and model numbers in one place; it makes any repair faster. A photo of the rating label, taken when the appliance is new, is easy to find later when you need it.
Check with the manufacturer first, since warranty repairs go through them. If the coverage has expired or the problem is not covered, we can help and give you a written quote.
Woodforest MUD 113 buys water from Mid-South Synergy, which blends groundwater with treated Lake Conroe surface water. Check your bill if you are in a different Woodforest district.
For 30 days after the visit, covering the workmanship on the repair we performed. If the same work fails in that period, we come back and correct it.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
