What E009 means

Each time the oven restarts it checks its own program memory before it lets anything heat. E009 is the user interface board reporting that this check failed. The manual states the result: every heating element is disabled. It also says the error cancels itself when the next start-up check passes, which explains why an oven sometimes wakes up after a power cut and appears perfectly normal.
