The glass keypad stops answering and E305 appears because the touch control module has lost its line to the rest of the oven. It might be the control module it cannot reach, or the user interface. That separates it from the related E005, which covers only the link between the interface and the control module. The service steps are the same either way: hunt for cut or pinched wires and loose plugs, then confirm voltage arrives at the right pins.
1. Turn the oven's breaker off, count off two minutes, and turn it back on. A communication drop caused by a surge can clear when the oven starts up again. 2. If E305 reappears immediately, the trouble is physical, in the wiring or a plug, and needs a technician. 3. Leave the keypad glass alone.
E005 refers to the display link with the control module, while E305 is the touch module itself losing contact. They are neighbors, and our checks cover both circuits.
Possibly, but with no working keypad you cannot adjust or stop it in the normal way, which is a safety concern. We suggest not cooking until the module is talking again.
