Bosch Oven E010 Means Stored Settings Failed Their Check

What E010 means

Where E009 concerns the operating program, E010 concerns the data memory: the saved settings and calibration. The oven's routine check of that memory failed, or a write to it did not finish, so the oven turns off every heating element. As with E009, the manual notes the error cancels at start-up if the next check passes, so it does not always mean a lasting failure.

Settings memory on the user interface corrupted

A failing memory chip on the interface board

Why did my clock reset?

When the settings memory loses data, the oven falls back to defaults, which includes the clock. It is a helpful clue that the memory itself was affected.

Is E010 worse than E009?
