Clark W. Henry ran F&M Dairy on 1,236 acres here before he and LeRoy Kennedy began building homes in 1954; the first family moved in that October. The city incorporated in April 1956 with all 58 votes in favor, and its streets now spread out from Jersey Drive and around an 18-hole golf course.
